Concealed Weapons Course is designed to
provide you with the firearm qualifications required
for obtaining your Florida CCW License.
The Concealed Weapons Course is for
novice and experienced shooters. It is classroom
specific with nominal range time. This
course focuses on the use of a
handgun as a concealed weapon. This course qualifies you for applying

Florida Concealed
Weapons Course
This course is taught
by an NRA Certified Instructor.
Trigger Trainer's
Concealed Weapons Course is for novice and
experienced
shooters who are over
21. It does not matter how much or how
little
experience you already
have with
handguns
and shooting.
This
course qualifies the student for the handgun
competency
requirement of the
Florida Concealed Weapons License
Application.

During the
approximately 4 hour classroom portion of
this course we will discuss
handgun
safety and handling, the fundamentals of
shooting, CCW license reciprocity,
prohibited places to carry your
handgun (even with a concealed license),
common
weapons violations, transportation of
a handgun, Florida Statutes, procedures for
applying for your Florida Concealed
Weapons License, and much more.
You will learn
everything you need to know to be able to
participate in the
live fire portion of
this course at a commercial range.
The live fire portion
of this course will be conducted at a
commercial range.
This portion of the course is
approximately 1 hour in length but it will
vary depending on the
skill, aptitude and number of student(s).
You will be taught and expected to
demonstrate how to safely and
competently
load, fire, reload and fire
your handgun.

DO NOT BRING A LOADED
HANDGUN OR
AMMO TO THIS CLASS
The student(s) are
responsible for their personal firearm, ammunition,
targets and range fees.
You will be shooting approximately 50
rounds.
If you do not have a
firearm, you will be able to rent one at the
range.
Note: Range fees will
vary. Some ranges require that you purchase
your ammunition from
their store, but it varies by location.
Upon completion of the
Concealed Weapons Course you will receive
a certificate of completion
of an NRA Firearms Training Course
and a
copy of the Florida Concealed Weapons
License
application.

out and apply
for your Florida CCW License.)
